The Reach program provides career matching, skill development, post-secondary education exposure, and employment opportunities for teens.
The Club is a place where someone's circumstances do not limit their access to opportunity.
Youth Employment Opportunities
Through YEO, Club members 14 and older gain paid work experience at Boys & Girls Club and other area businesses. While teens may work in the community, they are paid and hired through BGCS. For more information, contact Director of Teen Services, Blake Larsen.
Post-Secondary Education Preparation
It is our goal that every Club teen graduate on time, with a plan for the future. The Reach program provides teens the opportunity to participate in college visits, college and career panel discussions, and post-secondary entrance prep (e.g., SAT and ACT prep courses).
Career Matching & Readiness
CareerLaunch encourages Club members ages 13 to 18 to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation's work force. Club staff or volunteers help teens build their job-search skills and job readiness by using the CareerLaunch Facilitator Guide and working with teens individually or in small groups.
First Job Placement
We are proud to help connect youth to job opportunities in our community. Currently, our partners at O'Reilly Hospitality Management are looking for dynamic and passionate team members to enhance their culture.
