Maintaining Security During COVID-19

In light of COVID-19, we are working to fight the reversal of poverty progress, by providing access to career development opportunities for youth and their families- especially those in under-represented and under-resourced communities.

Addressing the Poverty Cycle

Springfield's poverty level is 25.9%. This is 72% higher than the national average ( Boys & Girls Clubs intend to interrupt the cycle of poverty through a whole family approach, connecting youth and their caregivers to equitable work opportunities.

The Club Experience

We ensure that every young person has the opportunity to develop skills and have experiences that help them prepare for life after high school. At the Club, members explore their interests, develop skills, and gain the knowledge needed to use these skills in the real world.
