Our team recently traveled to Kansas City for the Boys & Girls Club Missouri Area Council meeting. This annual gathering provided valuable opportunities for training, collaboration, and connection with fellow professionals from Clubs across the state.
During the event, we were honored to celebrate two remarkable recognitions within our organization:
Jeff Long, Senior Director of Safety, Inducted into the Missouri Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame
Jeff’s journey with the Boys & Girls Club is a true full-circle story. He began as a Club member, later worked as a teen staff member, and has carried forward a family legacy of service—his father and uncle both dedicated their careers to the Boys & Girls Club movement. Today, Jeff plays a vital role on our team, bringing passion, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to creating safe spaces for young people.
Brandy Harris, CEO, Named Missouri’s CEO of the Year
This recognition is a testament to Brandy’s outstanding leadership and vision. Most recently, she guided our organization through the successful completion of a $12 million capital campaign to build the new Risdal Family Teen Center for Great Futures. This transformational project will allow us to expand our reach among middle and high school students, empowering even more young people to pursue bright futures.
