Striving to be an advocate for others and wanting children to feel seen and heard is what brought Kelly Roe to the Boys and Girls Club in February 2021. Kelly says, "More than anything, I want to do my part in raising up a generation of kind and empathetic children."
Kelly is from a suburb of Charlotte, NC and studied Theatre, Education, and Psychology in college. Before working for the Club, Kelly spent five years working in the nonprofit world of Springfield. The achievement she is most proud of is building RISE Kids, a social/emotional program for children at the Drew Lewis Foundation.
In her free time, Kelly enjoys involving herself in advocacy movements in town, hosting dinners for her friends, and is a proud geek in her love for video games and D&D.Email Kelly
