Katie Cartwright

Katie joined the Boys & Girls Club team in 2017, as a Youth Development Professional. Before becoming Program Director for the O’Reilly Unit, she served as Morning Program Coordinator for the Fremont Unit. She has her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Missouri State University and is currently pursuing her master’s in counseling.

When Katie isn’t working, she enjoys taking spontaneous road trips, watching movie series, and trying new foods with her husband, Jake. Together, they also enjoy time spent with family and friends. Katie regularly visits the kickboxing gym and enjoys the mental and physical challenge this provides! She is also a true crime junkie.

Katie believes it’s crucial to have a positive mindset in life and to constantly be growing as a person. These personal values connect her to her work at the Club. She says her favorite thing about working for BGCS is building relationships with the members and making an impact on them. “As much as we strive to make in impact on our members, they end up making a bigger impact on us,” she says.
