Connor Wilson

Connor joins us with a bachelor's degree in journalism from Missouri State University. He also brings three years of communication and digital marketing experience with him!

Before joining BGCS, Connor worked in the news industry. He worked as a reporter and as a digital producer for one of Springfield’s local news channels, managing websites and social media pages and occasionally writing breaking news!

Connor also enjoys playing and listening to music, ferrets, and pestering people to tell him their entire life story! Before coming to Springfield, Connor worked with the Rolla Optimist Club to referee kids’ soccer and helped tutor middle school-aged children! Connor has always had a passion for helping organizations that make children’s lives better.

Connor is enjoying getting absorbed in BGCS’ mission and meeting all of the people who work behind the scenes of our organization. “It's been a dream working in such a cheerful environment and having the knowledge that I'm contributing to something that will genuinely make a positive difference in children's lives!” Connor said.
