On Saturday, May 12th, 2018, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield were visited by 29 soldiers from Fort Leonard Wood. The group, led by Sgt. Ferguson and Sgt. Cooper, stopped by to volunteer to help improve the Clubs.

The group worked hard for over 5 hours, and was very on task and courteous. Most of the work was done to the Musgrave Baseball Field, with improvements such as repainting railing, cleaning out and organizing an equipment shed, painting the bathroom floors, and overall improvements of the baseball field.

The Clubs are greatly appreciative of these wonderful volunteers taking time out of their weekend to pay us a visit and help out with this project.
