Stalnaker Teens place 3rd in My Club's Future Video Contest

Recently, Whitney Rauch, Kelsie Rauch, Ian Braig, Kevin Ritter, and Curtis Moore entered a video competition for the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield. The teens entered a contest that dealt with the future of the Club and how the Club can be improved. After the video was completed they sent the finished copy to Atlanta, GA, the headquarters of the Boys & Girls Clubs. The video won 3rd place out of 100+ Clubs; they were awarded $1000.

Character Education
December Word of the Month: Honesty Character Education is a Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce-led community-wide initiative working to create a "culture of character." The program incorporates most aspects of the community, including business, schools, universities, civic organizations, government, the faith community, and the media.
Stalnaker Unit Rental Information
The Stalnaker Unit is available to serve your needs if you are looking for a safe and positive place to - rent for birthday parties, reunions, school and church events, presentations, meetings and much, much more. If you are interested in reserving the Stalnaker Unit for your next special event, please contact us at 417-865-2821. Rental Fees Are: Gymnasium $30.00 per hour. (Great for parties, sports team practices or just getting together to shoot some hoops). Special Events Room $ 30.00 per hour. (Ideal location for meetings, speakers, reunions, parties, etc.). Games Room $30.00 per hour. (Great for youth parties or to entertain the young at heart. Refundable deposit of $50.00 required in advance due to carpeted area). All Three Areas $100.00 first hour. $75 for the second hour - additional hour pricing, contact the Unit at 417-865-2821 * A deposit of the first hour total cost must be submitted with the application and then fees are required before the rental date.
