Youth of the month-Zach Moore
Stalnaker would like to congratulate Zach Moore on being named the Boys & Girls Club Youth of the month here at Stalnaker.
Zach is in the 8th grade at Pershing Middle School and his current course load includes Band, American History, Math, English, Science, Civics, and Tech. He currently holds a 3.8 grade point average.
Zach is a great teen, and has a bright future. His positive attitude and willingness to be involved and participate without complaint is a trait I wish more teens would adopt. He is a leader in the Club, at home, and at school. We expect nothing but good things from him in the future.
Zach is very involved with his local church, Broadway Baptist. He attends the weekly youth service and participates in monthly activities with the youth group.
The gym is one of Zach favorite areas, where he can be found almost every afternoon. He loves being able to help the staff set up games. Every day he comes into the teen center with a great attitude. He stays on top of his homework and haves fun hanging out with his friends. He is trustworthy and dependable and should become a great leader in the teen center.
Zach has been very active in the club, participating in all of our national programs. He has been involved in Power Hour, SMART Moves, Citigroup, Triple Play, and NetSmartz. He loves spending time in the gym and playing on the computers in the teen center. He is a great example, of what it is to be involved.
Zach has helped the Teen Center with both recycling and graffiti club over the past year.
Zach has been awesome in the teen center this year. He has had a great attitude and is always having a good time. He can be found hanging out and playing games with his friends, whether it is pool, playing on the computers, or in the gym. He has gone on several of our field trips, most recently, bowling last Friday night.
Zach has a variety of chores he is responsible for at home. He helps take care of feeding the family cats, and sweeping around the house on a daily basis. Often he will help with the dishes, dust, and work on general cleaning and tidying of the house.
Zach is very responsible and works hard on his homework. He is involved in the honor choir at school and due to his commitment to practice at home he has been selected first chair trombone in his section
Zach has a very good attitude at both home and at the Club. He is an all-around good kid. He can be counted on to do what is asked of him at the Club and at home. His mother is very proud of him and how hard he works and how involved he is.
We are really proud of Zach!
