We are doing this by ensuring staff are using our “Formula for Impact”. Our Club is setting goals to ensure we offer the best Club environment by having a safe and positive atmosphere; ensuring the kids have fun; offer supportive relationships with parents, Club partners, volunteers, schools, and staff; give expectations and offer opportunities; and most of all, recognize our members.

We offer a wide range of special program here at the Henderson Unit. One of our newer programs to check out is our Triple Play Mental Health Program. If you are interested in your child or adolescent receiving brief counseling services either individually or in a group, see the front desk at the club for details.  We can introduce you to the Forest representative to answer any questions or concerns that you have.  Starting services only requires about 10 minutes of paperwork then your child or adolescent can be scheduled that day. Children and adolescents are usually seen weekly while they are at the club for the convenience of the family.

Another program we offer is our Mentoring Program. If you are looking for your child to have an one on one Mentor, then this is the program for you. We will pair your child with an adult mentor who will visit once week for an hour. This is a great opporunity for your child to have another positive role model in their lives. If you are interested please see the front desk.
