“Walk This Way” Walkathon

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield Auxiliary’s 4th Annual “Walk This Way” Walkathon will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Stalnaker Unit located at 1410 N. Fremont.  Proceeds from this event will go toward scholarships for the Boys & Girls Club youth.

A pancake breakfast will be served beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Registration will begin at the Stalnaker Unit at 9:30 a.m. the day of the event.  The Walkathon will take place beginning at 10:00 a.m. and will follow the Jordan Creek Trailway. 

 You are invited to form your own team. We ask that each walker of a team raise a minimum of $25, with $50-$100 the goal!  Each participant will receive a t-shirt, food, refreshments, and a chance to win prizes!  Individuals are welcome with no pre-registration necessary for a contribution of $25 for adults and $10 for students.  We also have a variety of sponsorship opportunities available.
