Fire Station 2 Came and Talked To The Members About Fire Safety

Miss Springfield Speaks To SMART Kids Group

Miss Springfield, Lane Teeters came and spoke to our SMART Kids group ages 6 to 8. The topic was tobacco prevention. She brought in several different models that demonstrated how tobacco is harmful to our health. One example was a how tobacco rots your mouth. Another example was of what healthy lungs look like and how smoking makes the lungs turn really bad and cause some diseases that will shorten your life. In showing our appreciation we gave Miss Teeters a Boys & Girls Club coffee mug and she was really excited. She comes highly recommended by us to work with children as she did a great job.
