The Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield has Entries Available for the 2013 Price Cutter Charity Championship Sweepstakes.  Each $25 entry includes:

• Tournament Ticket for all four August 8-11 Championship Days

• 1 in 6000 Chance to win a 2013 Ford Mustang or $10,000 cash  (you or your authorized representative must be present to win)

• 1 in 10 Chance to win one of 150 daily prizes (winners need not be present to win)

• Odds are 1 in 10 that you will win SOMETHING!

Since 2010, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield has partnered with Forest Institute to offer a Mental Health program for our club members.   The strength of this program matches well with our mission statement, to enable young people, especially ones that need us the most, to reach their potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.  Comments from kids have been:  “I know what to do now”; or “I tried humor”; or “I was in a bad situation and just stopped and thought…”.  The kids are also changing the mental health stigma by sharing the fun they are having while learning healthy and positive ways to deal with problems.   The mental health program is cost-effective: the program therapy is much cheaper than a private clinic and the cost for benefit to our kids’ and community’s future is priceless!  For more information about this or any of our programs, contact your local Boys & Girls Club!
