Bill Stalnaker

William “Bill” Stalnaker guided the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield to a level of success needed for future growth and prosperity. With more than 39 years of service in the Boys & Girls Club movement (17 years in Springfield), Bill demonstrated his outstanding leadership in developing an award-winning program.

During Bill’s tenure as Executive Director, he was instrumental in substantially increasing both the annual budget and staff size as well as directing building expansions, all resulting in greater community impact. Bill switched the Club’s emphasis from sports to education with the opening of Learning Centers at each site, a Youth of the Year program, and an expanded college scholarship program.

Bill’s dedication to and love for Boys & Girls Club work is unparalleled. He is honest, sincere, competent and absolutely trustworthy as a person and as a role model for children.
